Cancellation &
Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains when fees paid for KridSpot services may be cancelled or refunded. It currently applies primarily to paid access to KridSpot's sports auction functionality. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
KridSpot provides digital software services. There is therefore no physical product to return, ship back or exchange. References to a "refund" in this Policy relate to money paid for access to a KridSpot digital service.
KridSpot currently charges organisers for paid auction services. Fees may be calculated according to the number of teams registered or enabled for an auction. The applicable price will be communicated to the organiser before purchase through an invoice, quotation, email or other written communication. KridSpot currently does not operate an integrated online payment gateway — payment may be arranged directly between KridSpot and the organiser.
KridSpot may provide a completely free Trial or Demo Mode using demo data. Because no payment is charged for Trial Mode, no refund is applicable to use of Trial Mode. Organisers are encouraged to use Trial Mode to understand the Platform before purchasing or activating a real auction.
A refund will ordinarily not be provided merely because:
- an organiser changes their mind or decides not to conduct the auction
- fewer teams or players attend than expected
- an organiser enters incorrect information
- a player or team withdraws
- an organiser changes the event date
- an organiser does not fully use purchased functionality
- an event is cancelled for reasons unrelated to KridSpot
- an organiser misunderstands auction rules that were controlled by the organiser
- the organiser's own equipment, internet connection or local infrastructure fails
Organisers should carefully review their auction details before activating Live Mode. Once Live Mode has been activated, the purchased auction service is considered to have begun. Accordingly, cancellation or change-of-mind refunds will normally not be available after Live Mode activation.
A refund may be considered where all of the following apply:
- the organiser purchased a paid KridSpot auction service
- a material technical problem originated from the KridSpot Platform or infrastructure under KridSpot's responsibility
- the problem substantially prevented the organiser from using the purchased auction service for its intended purpose
- KridSpot could not reasonably restore, correct, reschedule or otherwise provide the purchased service
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, KridSpot may provide a full refund for the materially affected service, an appropriate proportionate refund, or another remedy agreed with the organiser.
A refund will normally not be available where failure results primarily from:
- the organiser's internet connection or local Wi-Fi or mobile network failure
- power failure at the auction venue
- incompatible or malfunctioning user equipment or unsupported browser configuration
- an organiser's accidental deletion or incorrect data entry
- failure to prepare the auction correctly
- unauthorised account use caused by the user's failure to protect credentials
- third-party circumstances completely outside KridSpot's reasonable control
- force majeure events
- event cancellation unrelated to KridSpot
KridSpot will assess the actual cause of the incident before determining refund eligibility.
If the organiser accidentally pays KridSpot twice for the same confirmed service, the duplicate amount may be refunded after verification. The organiser should provide their name, registered email or mobile number, auction details, amount paid, payment date and relevant transaction references.
If an organiser believes an incorrect amount was paid, they should contact KridSpot as soon as reasonably possible. KridSpot will review the applicable quotation, invoice, agreed team count and payment records. Any verified excess payment will be corrected as appropriate.
If KridSpot cancels a paid service before delivering it and cannot provide a reasonable replacement or rescheduled service, the amount paid for the undelivered service will ordinarily be refunded. This does not apply where access is terminated because of the organiser's material breach of the Terms, fraud, unlawful activity or misuse of the Platform, subject to applicable law.
A user whose account is suspended or terminated because of fraud, unlawful activity, security abuse or a material violation of the KridSpot Terms does not automatically become entitled to a refund. Any refund entitlement will depend on the circumstances, services already delivered, applicable contractual terms and mandatory rights under applicable law.
KridSpot is not responsible for the organiser's decision to cancel, postpone or modify an auction or sporting event. An event cancellation does not automatically create a refund entitlement against KridSpot if the KridSpot digital service was available as agreed.
KridSpot does not provide refunds merely because of disputes concerning player selection, team composition, virtual bidding decisions, auction rules established by the organiser, participant eligibility, prizes, awards, sponsorship arrangements or decisions made by the organiser. Such issues remain the responsibility of the relevant organiser unless KridSpot has expressly agreed otherwise.
Refund requests should be sent to kridspot@gmail.com. The request should include, where available:
- organiser name and registered email
- mobile number and auction name or identifier
- date of the issue and amount paid
- payment reference and description of the problem
- screenshots, recordings or other information that may help verify a technical problem
KridSpot may review system logs, auction records, error logs, correspondence, payment records and other relevant technical information before determining whether a refund condition has been satisfied. Users may be asked to provide reasonable additional information required to investigate the claim.
Once a refund has been approved, KridSpot will initiate the refund using an appropriate payment method. Where possible, the refund may be made to the original payment source or another verified account belonging to the payer. After KridSpot initiates a refund, the time required for the amount to appear may depend on the user's bank, UPI service or other financial institution. KridSpot will aim to process approved refunds within a reasonable period.
KridSpot may update this Policy when payment methods change, subscription plans are introduced, registration-payment functionality is introduced, pricing models change, additional products are launched or applicable law changes. A revised Policy will display its updated effective date. A later Policy change will not be used to unfairly remove a refund right that had already arisen under an earlier transaction or applicable law.
